WAP
Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) is the ubiquitous
protocol supported by most cell phones and PDAs.
It is analagous to HTTP, and WAP-enabled devices
use browsers similar to PC web browsers. WAP is
supported by all major wireless phone providers.

Usage
WAP-enabled devices do not immediately
receive Augur alerts from the WAP Messenger.
Instead, they receive a URL pointing back to an
Augur web page that provides real-time access
to Augur alerts.
Web page links allow the WAP device to browse,
acknowledge, delay, and clear alerts.
