Technology
We use the latest industry standard development practices and tools for fast and consistent development:
integrated development environment (IDE) source code editors,
CVS source code versioning,
ANT automated build scripts,
etc.
Development platforms vary according to each developers' preference. Windows XP, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris are all represented. The result is that our software is inherently robust across deployment platforms.
Our developers program in Java, for both client and server programs. The major benefit is a single code base for all platforms, ensuring flexible and consistent deployment options. Product APIs are also based in Java, allowing customers to leverage a large pool of commercial tools and qualified developers to build customizations.
Our technology ties together the event and notification process for both centralized NOC's and field operations. Our solutions support both SNMP and legacy systems.
